サーブミスは果たして本当に「もったいない」のか

リオ五輪アジア予選兼最終予選、第２戦の中国戦に敗れた日本。「サーブミス連発で自滅」といった記事が多いように思いますが、果たして本当にそうなのでしょうか。

私は決して、そうではないと思っています。下記リンク先の記事が、その理由を見事に代弁してくれています。

要点は3つ。

  1. バレーではサーブを撃つ側が不利
  2. スパイク側は絶対的に有利
  3. 外したらそりゃ失点するだろうが、入れるだけのサーブならどうせ失点するから同じこと！

初級者が多い、小学生などのカテゴリーではまた違うのですが、国家代表レベルともなれば、入れていくだけのサーブほぼ１００％サイドアウトを取られるわけで、ミスを怖れてびびってサーブを打っているようでは、勝てるわけが無いのです。

大事なのは、「ミス」と「エラー」を分けて考えることだと思います。攻めて外したのならそれは「エラー」。びびって外したのは「ミス」。「ミス」は許されませんが「エラー」は許されるのです。

狙うべき選手、エリア、ゾーンを明確にして最後の1点まで攻める。

ミスは必ず出るけど相手にプレッシャーのかかるサーブを打つ。スピードサーブだけが攻めるサーブではなく前後左右に足を動かせるサーブも攻めるサーブである事！

ただ闇雲に思い切り打つだけが「攻める」ことでは有りません。成功率を上げつつ、攻めることは可能です。

「エラー」にため息つくようなこと無く、選手に不要なプレッシャーを与えることをせず、力を出し切ってもらえるように、しっかり応援したいですね。

Oh my goodness! Awesome article dude! Thanks, However I am encountering issues with your RSS.
